<div>Anemoia specifically aims to highlight the experience of coping with a panic disorder and the nature of the ensuing struggles that follow maladaptive daydreaming. Rather than the usual melancholic or horror-packed films relating to anxiety and panic attacks, the film's overall tone works to uplift and provide a sense of comfort for others who may have lived through similar experiences.

<div>Hi! My name is Alexas Rylan Bradley, I’m a senior VMA student at Emerson College, and Anemoia is my senior thesis film.

<div>I chose to make this project to spread awareness about living and coping with a mental illness that strongly affects everyday life. My perspective on this topic comes from my personal experience living with a panic disorder and the various coping mechanisms I’ve engaged with, especially maladaptive daydreaming.

<div>While many films display depictions of panic attacks, very rarely do they dive into the experience of living with a panic disorder, where your body blatantly turns against you, sometimes without any preamble or reason. So, this film is meant to create solace for others who struggle with these things. A lot of people just need someone to tell them that they're going to be okay, and this film is meant to say that.
