Andy Rose Cancer Fund

Hi, my name is Mel Satuito. My friend, Andy Rose, has recently been diagnosed with cancer and will need surgery and possibly radiation as part of his treatment. His surgery is scheduled for next week, and his recovery will take at least three months. I'm starting this fundraiser to help with his medical bills and show him his community's love and support.

Andy is a long-time San Francisco resident who came to the city as a young man from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He's been a bartender for over 30 years; he's that guy that always knows your name and remembers your favorite drink. He's also is the trusted security guard at the Institute On Aging, but everyone who works with him knows he's more than just a security guard. Anyone lucky enough to know Andy knows what a friend is.

Please take a moment to keep him in your thoughts and prayers as he battles through this. He isn't the type of guy that wants any attention but we all want him to know how much he is loved and appreciated for who he is. Keep fighting Andy and we will be with you all along the way.
