Andy Froistad Memorial - Our Love and Support

Andy Froistad was larger than life itself.  The boy from Minnesota knew how to bring a smile to everyone’s face.  His good-hearted antics are truly stuff of legend.   He knew how to make anyone he met feel they were the center of attention.  His personality was infectious - and making you laugh was his mission in life.   No obstacle was too big with Andy in your corner.  That is Andy’s legacy...  one of friendship - on a magnitude of loyalty like no other, one of patriotism and service, one of dedication to family and friends and country.   An amazing father, husband, friend and human being.  To those of us who knew Andy best... he was our Care Bear.   While we grieve for the loss of our great friend and brother, we cherish and tell the stories of how Andy brought laughter and happiness to our lives.

Preceded in death by grandparents, Arnold and Donna Hunt, Maxine Hunt, Jeannette and Vernon Froistad; aunt and uncle, Annie and Tim Hunt. Survived by loving wife, Angie; proud father of Luke, Lucy, and Laura; parents, Tom and Claudia Froistad; brother, Eric (Angie) Froistad; sisters, Emily (Steven) Mrozinski, and Natalie (Ethan) Brinegar; in-laws, Jerry and Anne Woodhull, Dusty and Jessie Borglum; nieces and nephews, Jack and Nate Froistad, Anna, Lily, and Max Mrozinski, Zach and Lexi Borglum; and countless friends and family.

Graduate of North St. Paul HS in 2000, the United States Naval Academy in 2004, and proudly served in the United States Navy from 2004 till December 2010. Andy loved all sports, especially playing and sharing his love of baseball, curling, fishing, and golf. Above all, he loved and cherished Angie and their children. He had a strong love for his family and friends, and there was nothing he wouldn’t do for them. Never short of humor and wit, Andy had an infectious personality and he brought joy and laughter into the lives of everyone he met. Andy will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.
