Andrew Scott Heart Surgery

Andrew was born with a ventricular septal defect (VSD) and intestinal issues that will require multiple surgeries to correct. Andrew will be undergoing the first of those surgeries, an open heart procedure, on March 20, 2015, at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis.
Our oldest son, Henry, recently underwent an MRI at Children's Hospital. On March 16, 2015, we received the results of the MRI, and were devastated to learn that among several potentially significant findings, Henry has a brain tumor (optic glioma). The tumor will require monitoring over the next three months, and if growth continues he will undergo chemotherapy to slow the growth of the tumor.
Already the outpouring of support from family and friends has been incredible, and more than we ever could have imagined.
Since so many people have reached out to offer help, we wanted to set up a place to allow for a means of donation to help with medical bills and other related expenses, though we would prefer that you send thoughts and prayers in lieu of money.
