I don't really know how to start. When you lose someone you love you spend alot of time trying to figure out how to honor their life in a meaningful way. Well this photo is of Kali and Andy on our first camping trip with the three of us. If you know either of us then you know her. She was our child. Everyone I have talked to has mentioned that he spoke about getting Kali her ccl surgery so she wouldn't miss another year of frolicking and barking at fish. Even in the weeks leading up to him passing he was setting up roof jobs while he was actively losing his life to get her this surgery. There was nothing more important or necessary to him. Only an amazing human would be on a roof being as sick as he was to make sure as a final deed that she was fixed. Unfortunately he didn't make it to that deadline. We are both devastated and I couldn't imagine not being able to fish together and remember her daddy together on the river. Yall have never met a dog who loves fishing as much as she does. You can't even say the "F" word around her. So I couldn't think of a better living breathing memorial for Andrew Mark Hubbard than the one thing he was trying so desperately to accomplish before he passed. I don't know if you know us or just ended up seeing this as a share but know that there is nothing in this world that would make him more at peace than her still getting fixed through everyone who loved him when he couldn't. I have also already spoke to Green Valley Animal Hospital and they are also willing to take donations over the phone. Just make sure you mention Kali's name. Yalonda Aderholt and for Andrew Hubbard.
