Andrew's Cancer Campaign

On October 9th, Andrew received the initial diagnosis of testicular cancer. The next day, a 7 c.m. tumor and his left testicle was removed. Then on October 25th he had a post-operative CT scan of the chest, abdomen and pelvis. The next day we received the results - the CT revealed the cancer had metastasized to his lymph glands and is Stage 3c. He has a 9 c.m. tumor in his pelvis which is causing complications to the ureter on his left kidney. The next day, they placed a stent in his left kidney to improve function and they placed a port in his left chest for chemo. It is an aggressive cancer and it is going to be treated as such. He begins Chemotherapy on Monday, November 13th for 5 days and this will be repeated every 4 weeks. If surgery is required, we will have to travel out of state for the surgery.
