Andrew's long journey to recovery

Donation protected
The New Year is not starting well for the Smagac family. They will require all of the support and prayers they can receive from family and friends over the next few months.

On January 1st 2020, Andrew had a freak accident at home which resulted in a traumatic brain injury and skull fracture. He is currently in the intensive care unit at Health Sciences North where his condition is being closely monitored. He will be going through further testing to determine the full extent of his injuries. Then he is expected to transfer to the neurology department where he will take part in some rehabilitation. Andrew has a very long and painful journey ahead of him.

He will be off work for an undetermined amount of time while he heals from his injuries. His wife Sophie and their 6 year old daughter Rylee depend on him and his income.  Sophie will remain by his side in the hospital.

Any financial help would benefit this family tremendously as they navigate this difficult time.  Andrew is always the first to lend a hand and has the biggest heart of all.

Let's show Andrew & Sophie some love and support.
