Andrew's Courageous Recovery

Those of you who have met Andrew or the Seth family understand the love that surrounds their family.  When Andrew was fostered by Brianne and Joe, when he was 3, they immediately welcomed him into their lives with a promise to always love him and take care of him.  A few years later he was adopted.  
We have all been through the journey of Andrew's life when showing love and compassion about the trauma that he has had to over come and the struggles that he faces with his past demons.  
With these struggles often comes a new set of medication.  A few weeks ago Andrew was put on a new set of medications, with this new medication the unfortunate side effects came to light.
Sunday morning when Andrew woke up he was covered in a rash head to toe, a rash that had blistered open and covered 100% of his body including his eyes.  Brianne and Joe rushed him to the emergency room at Hamot where his oxygen was low and his temp hovered around 104.  At 4am the fever wasn't subsiding and the blisters were getting worse.  At 10am on Monday, November 16th he was life flighted to Pittsburgh.  His blisters had to be cleaned and bandaged.  His fever is still not under control as well as his blisters are still emerging.  The doctors diagnosed him with SJS which is Stevens Johnson Syndrome.  https://www.webmd.com/skin-problems-and-treatments/stevens-johnson-syndrome#1 
We are praying and hoping for a full recovery.  Brianne and Joe know and understand the journey ahead to make sure that he has a full recovery and his immune system is not compromised.  
With this Brianne will be commuting between Erie and Pittsburgh.  This will take a toll on their family.  Joe will have to be home from work and bills will pile up. Not to mention the money to go back and forth.
