Andrew Mianulli

Andrew Mianulli had a successful bone marrow transplant from the umbilical cord of a french baby girl.   Because the transplant was from the cord his expected recovery time is estimated to be 6-12 months (double what was originally thought).  This is because the bone marrow he received from the umbilical cord  has no immunity to fight any germs or diseases and his body has to develop them as if he was a baby.   We are asking for help from his family and friends and the community of Old Bridge to please help.  Any donation amount no matter how small is greatly appreciated.   If you live near him maybe drop off a meal or drive him to an appointment.    He is 7 months in to this and fighting like a champ but has a long way to go.  We were hoping to have a fundraiser locally but have not been able to finalize that yet.  He needs your help now more than ever to make it to the finish line.  He is so thankful and grateful to all of you who have donated, prayed, sent messages and posted on his timeline.  He is such an inspiration to others going through this same horrible disease and is so uplifting and motivating to everyone who is sick.  There are no words to express his deep gratitude to each and everyone of you.
