Andrew Matney Memorial Fund

Andrew Matney lived a life full of love and adventure. He battled for six long years to overcome colon cancer, before he was finally granted peace and rest on Sunday, July 28th 2019. He left behind the memories of many adventures with the love of his life, Alexis Brill, and their two dogs, Mollie and Bear.  In January of 2019 he also became a first-time father to Melanie Louise, whose endlessly sunny smile reminds everyone that Andrew's fighting spirit shines on in her. 

In this time of deep grief and struggle for Andrew's young family, I have set up this fund to help Alexis and Melanie lay Andrew to rest and help cover their expenses while they take some time to grieve and make arrangements for their future. All funds donated here will be given to Alexis to be used at her discretion, but in particular these funds are meant to help pay for Andrew's final expenses and to ensure that his family's physical needs are met, particularly in the immediate future. A separate, long-term fund has been established in Melanie's name at First Security Bank in Belgrade to help provide her additional security as she grows.
