ANDREA TOKAJI FOR FREE SPEECH

Donation protected
My name is Andrea Tokaji, and I am standing tall for Baldivis as an independent candidate at the upcoming WA State Election.

As a local girl who lives in Baldivis, I will fight for the best outcomes for you and our community!

I have been campaigning hard over the last five months in Baldivis, including meeting with many community organisations, attending the twilight and lions markets, meeting with veterans, with retirees, with young people, with faith and community leaders, hearing about what matters most to you.

As an independent, I will stand tall for Baldivis!

I will fight for better infrastructure, law enforcement and housing opportunities for Baldivis!

As an independent, I will stand for truth and justice, I will stand against corruption and I will fight to clean up our broken systems, including the family court system.

I will stand to support families, the respect of law and order, for lower energy prices, for reliable, inexpensive energy sources, and for the fair and balanced education of our children.

The best interest of the child should always come first.

As a human rights advocate, I will speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, I will fight for vulnerable women and children, and I will fight for decent, hard working men who deserve to see their children!

I have been advocating for the most vulnerable in our society, including those with mental illnesses, those with disabilities, for aboriginal communities, the enslaved, trafficked and exploited across Austral-Asia for over 20 years. I will not stop!

My experience includes working as a counsellor and chaplain with young people in schools, in the Attorney - General’s Department writing legislation, working with refugees in detention centres on Christmas Island, and as a lobbyist speaking into State and Federal Parliaments on human rights matters pertaining to vulnerable minorities.

I stand for low tax rates for businesses, and for the interests of Western Australia as the highest priority, and the best interest of Australia’s sovereignty.

Elect me as your independent representative, so that I can keep both sides of Government accountable, to fight for truth and justice, for transparency and true democracy, and to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves!

The circumstance that I find myself in was not my plan, but I am making the best out of a sticky situation.

To be explicitly clear, I wrote the Article in question titled: Are Our Fears of the Coronavirus Undermining Our Freedoms? in April - at the height of the COVID pandemic, during a time when we all had many questions about the pandemic as it unfolded.

My article posed many questions, but at the heart of it, I asked the question of whether we are allowing a compromise on our freedoms and rights under certain legal and regulatory constraints under the Emergency Powers and beyond.

I wrote this article in my capacity as a free citizen, well before I was endorsed as the Liberal Candidate for Baldivis. I was endorsed in late August, at which point, I suspended all previous views to promote the policy positions of the Liberal Party, as is custom.

On Wednesday afternoon, I received a phone call from the Leader of the WA Liberals stating that I had been dis-endorsed. I asked on what grounds, but there was no willingness for any further discussions. There was no due process.

Thereafter, my name and reputation was defamed by the Liberal Party. I was labelled as a ‘Conspiracy Theorist”, with over 20 years of my work as a human rights advocate totally discredited.

It is sad to see that the Liberal Party, who profess to believe in freedom speech will not stand up and defend freedom of speech - when it is exercised.

To be explicitly clear, my article never made any definitive conclusions.

Given the fact that I am not a scientist or medical professional, I am not in a position to make definitive statements about the adverse affects of any technology.

To be fair, scientists themselves still do not know the long-term adverse affects of new and emerging technologies.

I regret that the Liberal Party has let one of their hardest working candidates go.

It is a shame that they did not stand up for freedom of speech, and I mourn that no due process was exercised. I lament that they have lowered themselves to defamatory tactics.

I have known hardship and trauma all of my life.

As a refugee child, I could not speak a word of English when I arrived in Australia, and we grew up in poverty.

Despite this fact, I have worked hard, and I have put myself through law school. I am now training to become a law professor.

I will never stop fighting for truth, for justice and for a fair go for all.

I am a woman of integrity, honesty and I will always work hard to seek truth!

Elect me as your independent representative and I will keep both sides of government honest!

Elect me, and I will never stop asking the difficult questions not one else is willing to ask!

As a former refugee, I will never stop fighting for our Constitutional rights to the freedom of speech, belief, conscience, association and the freedom of political communication in the best country to live in the world!

For example, I think that our governments need to pay more attention to human rights violations, including organ harvesting and human trafficking and exploitation in our region. I do not think that our governments have worked hard enough to ensure that transplant tourism that victimises organ harvesting prisoners in China is adequately addressed in Australian legislation.

We have organ harvesting victims and their families living in Australia.

We also have CCP supporters living in Australia.

As a community, we need to ask: have we done everything we can as a free democracy to protect the vulnerable minorities who are subject to organ harvesting, and have we totally eradicated our involvement in this heinous black market trade that feeds the coffers of the Chinese Communist Party?

As a human rights advocate, I have campaigned against organ harvesting since 2014 in NSW and Federal Parliament, making legal submissions and recommendations to ensure that Australia is not a party to this grave human rights violation that victimises the most vulnerable minorities in China, while making money for their Communist causes.

It was only a few months ago that I stood on these very steps of Parliament and spoke against organ harvesting at a political rally. We should not relent.

Here in Australia, we enjoy the wonderful freedoms of belief, conscience, the freedom of association, the freedom of speech and the freedom of political communication, but we need to work tirelessly not to take these freedoms for granted, and to ensure that they are protected into our future for our children and for future generations.

Will you stand with me and help me fight for your freedoms?
