Andrea Casey

In April 2019, Andrea Casey was diagnosed with leukaemia. Unfortunately, it is a very aggressive form of leukaemia, which spread to her spine and brain, she is currently going through the most intensive treatment regimen C. Andrea is 5 years old. She has developed neuropathy while undergoing treatment. For the past few months, she is having severe problems with her stomach, she vomiting blood and acid in her stomach. We are currently on the list awiting a scope, which tell us more about here stomach troubles. The waiting list is long and still we don't have a date, she has been getting worse, as it's an extremely serious issue, we would like to get it done privately, but we’re unable to afford it, as it's one of the most expensive procedures in the country. It is an extremely difficult situation we find ourselves in. People who are going through it will understand. We are a family of four, me and my partner, and our two girls, Andrea who is five and sister, Aubrey who is two . We're finding it very hard and struggling with funds, there is a lot of traveling, hospital stays, medications that are not covered. We are living in substandard accommodation. Trying our best to keep the house warm for Andrea. We feed funding to try to do up the house, to make it suitable and safe for her. We had no choice but to move to substandard accommodation due to the financial crisis, the house we are living in is below standard. Not in a million years would I have thought my daughter would ever be diagnosed leukaemia. I wish this on no parent or family. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Normally I would never do anything like this, but based on circumstances, I feel I don’t have a choice, I need to be a responsible parent. Thank you so much for your help and support!
