Andersons Need a Bigger Car

As many of you know, we are a licensed foster family. Christy fostered 4 little ones before I came on the scene. After we got married, we fostered and, ultimately, adopted Julien. Add our first-born Jace and we have a happy little family.
God has called and equipped us to continue taking in littles who are in unsafe situations. Our plan and goal was to care for as many as two more kids. But, as usual, God’s plans are different. He sent us three! We have enough room in our home and dinner table, but not in a single vehicle. With four out of five children in car seats, our Pathfinder just isn’t practical. A trip to the grocery store has no room for groceries and an overnight trip has no room for luggage. The two middle children are squished in the back with little room for their legs.
Our goal, God willing, is to trade in the Pathfinder and raise another $5000 as a down payment. The remainder of the cost would be taken out in a loan and paid off as soon as possible.
We are looking for a reliable used vehicle with the capacity to get us all from point A to point B. Most likely a suburban-type vehicle.
While we most likely will not have these three kids forever, having a larger car will help equip us to continue to live out James 1:27 in the future.
