Anderson "Sweet Boy" Medical Fund

Hello Everyone! Thanks for visiting this page for Sweet Boy, Anderson. He is my 16 month-old nephew who has medical issues that have yet to be properly diagnosed. 

Here's a little bit about what we know so far.  He is delayed in many areas (only nurses - complete food aversion, doesn't crawl or walk - severe hypotonia, and is in the less than 1 percentile for height). They have weekly visits from a physical therapist, speech therapist, and occupational therapist. They have done some blood tests and will do more as he is able.  They've seen an allergist, neurologist, gastroenterologist (and going to another asap), and they'll also get an mri before doing focused genetic testing. A swallow study/scope will also come probably before the mri. They are at the point now where they need some real answers because they aren't far from a g tube just to keep him going.

If you know my brother, Joseph and his wife, April, you know what a geniunely sweet, fun-loving, devoted couple they are to each other and their two beautiful children. Also, you are probably aware of the severe allergy issues and expenses they incur for their daughter, Kate. Through everything they have to deal with, they are to me, the epitome of patience and love. 

Of course, like any devoted parents, they have decided no matter what it takes, they will do what they have to in order to find answers and treatment for Anderson. For anyone that has had to deal with anything medical, even if you have insurance, it's still expensive. That's where I think we can help them. This page is an idea our mom and I came up with as a way to hopefully relieve some stress monetarily. We know many of you love and care for them and would like to help as well. All funds will go to them so they can continue to pay for future tests and bills they have already incurred.
