Anderson Barns Southern Cross

As many of you know, Captain Anderson Barnes has been a beloved and outstanding sailing instructor in Panama City for many years. For those who have been lucky enough to take his course, you know that he’s the genuine article. Hurricane Michael has taken his boat, the boat he lived on and had beautifully and meticulously outfitted to allow him to one day explore the world in a way that few people are able to do. This Go Fund Me is an attempt to rally his friends, family, and former students to make contributions to help him off set a financial burden that is likely to far exceed what we are trying to raise. 


I am a former student of Captain Anderson. Many have people have been impacted by hurricane Michael and will need help, both financial and otherwise. 100% of the funds raised by this campaign will go directly to Anderson Barnes to help him get back on his feet.
