Winning this year’s competition as “Best Hipcamp in CA” could really help us maintain the Sanctuary during the slow months of the winter as well as get the recognition we need in order to finally get a sweet new cozy cabin.
Since Anders broke his neck we have reinvented our lives, built up our offerings for events and workshops and have become the most popular Hipcamp in California with over 1,500 5-star reviews!!!!! Far and away many more than any other site in the running - and yet we have slipped into 3rd place in the competition - possibly because what wins this race is not only your popularity with guests but friends and family who are willing to vote and even do so repeatedly until the deadline. Which is 12/16!!!
