Making Andalusia School Even Safer

Assalamu Alaykum Warahmatullahi wabarakatu,
Allah (SWT) says in the Qur'an:
“Believe in Allaah and His Messenger (Muhammad), and spend of that whereof He has made you trustees. And such of you as believe and spend (in Allaah’s way), theirs will be a great reward”
[al-Hadeed 57:7]
Allah (SWT) has mentioned charity and its importance in the Quran many times. Charity will benefit you and your family in ways that you have not accounted for, and is a means of attaining blessings, contentment and victory in this life and the next.
Alhamdulilah this building in the photo above hosts our beloved Andalusia School, a fulltime Islamic school from PreK to 12th grade. It is a second home to so many of our students. Andalusia School has programs going on at all times including many quality after school programs. We get together at our school for events, holiday celebrations, graduations, sports tournaments, lectures, prayers, Ramadan, and so much more.
Most importantly, we would not be able to keep this beautiful school open and offer our students a quality education without the support of the community and the generous donations you have given to us throughout the years. It is the community who is helping to Keep the Message Alive.
Campaign Objective:
Andalusia is a very safe place. Alhamdulillah, we have reliable security personnel, security cameras, and fire alarm and sprinkler system that are up to code. However, we can make it even safer if we work together. The focus of this campaign is to raise funds to keep our school even safer. Given recent events, notably the Parkland shooting incident in Florida, it is our duty to improve the security and ensure the safety of our dear school and its students.
In a famous hadith the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said:
Anas ibn Malik reported: A man said, “O Messenger of Allah, should I tie my camel and trust in Allah, or should I leave her untied and trust in Allah?” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Tie her and trust in Allah.”

In islam we need to place full trust in Allah (SWT), but we have to do our part first.
What your generous donations will help us achieve:
- Increase number of security cameras and video surveillance capabilities.
- Installation of more reliable locks
- Self-closing mechanisms and reinforcements for key entrances
- Providing latest technology radios and intercom
