My son Gabriel was born fighting and winning.
He was 6 months premature, overcame all the battles of a neonatal ICU and became a smart child, who walked, ran, joked ... but at age 3 he had severe pneumonia, went into coma for 2 months and had a stroke.
He went through all this overcoming all medical expectations, but as a sequel was a severe spasticity, and today at age 9 struggles to go back to walk alone.
A surgery called Selective Dorsal Risotomy, created by Dr. T.S. Park, eliminates spasticity, and can restore the normality of your movements so that he can walk alone again.
After going through a lengthy evaluation process, Gabriel was considered fit for surgery by Dr. Park which is done at Saint Louis Children's Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Now Gabriel needs our help!
We are raising funds for surgery costs and the one month treatment needed after the procedure costing around $ 60,000.
