And the Beat Goes On:Support Greco against cancer

Gregory Freeman, affectionately known as Greco to his friends and
family, is a former policeman, a retired fireman for the City of Detroit,
and a popular Detroit area musician.  He is also a single father of two, a caring and giving son to his mom whom he currently takes care of, and a tremendous asset to our community. 
Unfortunately, Greco had to retire early from his job serving his community; which he loved, due to an injury sustained in the line of duty. However, this hasn’t stopped him from living his best life. Greco very much enjoys bringing people together and making them happy. This is the driving force behind his work as a musician.

Greco is a very popular and renowned musician, composer, arranger,
singer, and percussionist. He performs and records with many talented
local and international musicians. For more than 40 years, he has
experienced the power of music and as a way to give back to our
community; he shares his love for music with inner city schools in
Detroit and the surrounding area, fully aware that many young children
don’t often have the opportunity to experience the richness of live
music.

Our loving and caring friend Greco has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive form of stage 4 lung cancer that has also spread to his bones. His health insurance only covers a fraction of his medical bills - which are mounting daily. Due to his painful and debilitating condition,
Greco is unable to work at this time to meet his medical, family and other financial obligations.
We, his friends, are coming to you for help as we would like to take
some of the burden off of Greco and his family during this difficult time. We are asking if you would join us and donate to this special fund for our brother and friend Greco.
