We have officially been invited to the 2024 FITUC theatre festival in Casablanca Morocco. Bringing "And Democracy, Dammit!" to the stage requires a collaborative effort, and we need your support to make this project a reality. Your contribution will be instrumental in covering travel expenses and ensuring that this powerful story reaches the widest audience possible.

Join us to discover the story of Ñafle, Watusi and Sonajeras, living in precarious circumstances who decide to play the political systems that almost always exclude and forget them. This play not only promises laughter for audiences of all ages but also serves as a poignant commentary on the fragility of power, the potential for its misuse and the current political climate we live in.

The play masterfully weaves together laughter and introspection, all while subtly addressing the urgent issue of climate change.

Oscar Castro's Legacy:

Written by Castro in Santiago, Chile, just before he was imprisoned in concentration camps under Pinochet, the play remains a powerful testament to the enduring struggle for justice and the consequences of unchecked power. Despite its origins in the '70s, its message resonates as if it were scribed today.

We are proud to announce that "And Democracy, Dammit!" has been performed with great success on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of March at the Theaterforum Kreuzberg in Berlin and on the 22nd of March at the Aleph Theatre in Paris. What makes this production even more special is the diverse and international crew behind it. Our talented team includes members from Ukraine, France, Canada, South Africa, Germany, and Austria, coming together to create a truly global and impactful theatrical experience.
