Clean Water Well

The campaign is to raise $5,000 which  builds a borehole (solar powered well) that allows access to clean water for approximately 1,500 people in Zambia, Africa.

Anchor of Hope Charities is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit founded by Judy Kendall, a Hoosier with a huge heart, in 2007 to provide clean water, food and support childhood education in rural Zambia, Africa.

AOH works with local governments and schools in eight provinces in rural areas in Zambia, Africa to provide food, clean water, clothing and education to people and especially children.

AOH has created food programs for children attending 14 grade schools. The program will expand to reach 40 schools in 2018.

AOH works to improve reading and reading comprehension among children in remote community schools that do not have the resources the Zambian government provides to urban schools.

AOH is now creating a education program for children in grades K through 7 that will include connecting children all over the world.
