Ana's fight for life and to live

I am creating this page to help my friend Ana Metzler through her battle with stage 3 c breast cancer. The full description of the diagnosis is ductal/aggressive inflammatory carcinoma tripple negative stage 3 grade c. Maybe that terminology will mean something to doctors or others who's lives have been touched by cancer but to me it means my friend is in trouble. I know that whenever people often develop sainthood as a side effect of this type of diagnosis but Ana was already cannonized. There is no other way to describe her other than that she is the definition of warmth and kindness. She is going through AC/taxol treatments (chemo) for a total of 16 cycles then followed by a mastectomy and then radiation. She has a 4000$ medical deductible and a 6000$ Deductible on prescriptions. Not including the copays she must pay to receive her small pharmacy worth of medications. We are talking about a person who endlessly gives without seeking anything in return. Ana works two jobs including being a long time employee at the local hospital a minimum of 54 hours a week just to pay the bare minimum of bills. She has her daughter and grandaughter living full time in her home to help with her care and expenses and her son part time. Mastectomy Surgery is coming in January which will put our dear friend out of work for a minimum of 5 weeks. She cannot have reconstruction right Away because of the radiation. She only takes days off when Absolutely necessary. She is working as hard as she possibly can yet it is all too much and she is literally swimming in debt. Disability is not an option for Ana as she is barely able to pay her living expenses as it is. I truly wish everyone had the opportunity to know and enjoy this person i have no doubt they would be refreshed by her shockingly upbeat attitude and her inherent good nature. Please ask yourselves if we can afford to spend money on all the frivolities in life can't we afford to help our friend Ana??
