Today, my beautiful daughter is celebrating her 17th birthday. Ana, you are one of my greatest joys. Take on this world with grace, courage, and kindness! For the past year, I've pinned Ana's fundraiser for her school trip to Japan on my Facebook page. This is what her fundraiser states: "Konnichiwa! I am preparing for the adventure of a lifetime with my teacher and classmates and asking for your support to help fund my trip! Please consider supporting my trip by donating any amount to help me have this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Thank you." Unfortunately, that pinned post did not directly generate donations to her school trip account.

So, for this week, her birthday week, I'm setting up this GoFundMe just for her trip. Yesterday, we finally went to get her passport application processed. We still have some payments for her school trip; whatever is left over will be her spending money. Ana would appreciate anything.
