Anacortes Skate Park Improvement Project

Hey everyone, we are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization called the Anacortes Skate Park Improvement Project.  We were founded to support the Anacortes community and our youth by raising money to rebuild and revamp the current Anacortes Skate Park. The community deserves a skate park that is up to date and constructed in a way that is optimal for skating and is good for people of all skill levels! This will ensure that we have a park that will be well-respected and maintained. We are also working alongside the city and the parks and recs committee to ensure the success and flow of this project.
Our vision is to have our current 20-year-old, outdated park rebuilt by the company Grindline. This company has built beautiful skateparks nationwide and does community surveys to ensure the park has features that the community favors. Their reputation ensures us that we would get the best quality and the most use out of our park, to better serve the community and those using it!

This vision has stemmed from a large amount of community feedback and research. It is so important that the physical application of this project aligns with our mission statement.

That mission is to support our community and youth by creating a welcoming gather place for families and people of all ages. Somewhere that will enable us to support the importance of positive hobbies and passions in all the generations to come. To instill strong values in our youth through the art of skateboarding and most of all the sense of community it brings, and the sense of being it brings.


We are beyond excited to say we already have about 35,000 dollars raised so far!
