This is for my father

Hi Everyone, I've been pretty open this past year about my father's illness. He's been battling stage 4 colon cancer for a year now. His cancer has unfortunately progressed to a point where more aggressive chemotherapy is necessary. Thankfully my father was able to be given the last spot available at UCLA, where he was enrolled in a trial study of a drug which the oncologist believes will stop the cancer in his body from spreading and more promising shrink the main tumor. What we did not know prior to the visit what the financial cost and time commitment for this trial would be. My dad will have to stay in the UCLA area for 37 days with one week break and then return for another 37 day sprint. He will have to stay in LA alone since both my mom and I need to stay in Las Vegas and work. We are not looking forward to leaving my Dad but there is no other alternative. Besides the difficulty of not being with my dad while he goes through this is incredibly difficult, the financial hardship has as well been really hard. So I'm humbly asking for help... We've very conservatively estimated expenses for him to do this trial will be about $8000. My parents have about $4000 already. I didn't have time to do a golf tournament or some sort of formal fundraiser. My dad started his first day of treatment today. I'm here asking for donations for my father. I myself am working weekend promo jobs to help them but I'm only one person. I need my father here and well. Anything you can spare will be greatly appreciated.
