Hi everyone!
I've been quite hesitant to do this even when some people suggested it before, simply because it makes me feel embarrassed and vulnerable. As you may know I have been a thyroid cancer survivor for 1 year and 8 months now. I will forever be thankful for the access to adecuate medical care that I have had, but unfortunately the testings, surgery, and treatments that I have received have left me in debt. Furthermore, one of my levels is not where it should be at and my doctor has suggeted that there might still be some cancer lying around. If this is the case, I will need a second surgery and maybe even another round of radiation. This has not been confirmed yet, and I will not find out until the end of the summer. If you know me, you won't be surprised to hear that I am keeping a positive mind and hoping for the best. Please, don't panic about this yet, just send me prayers and positive energy.
I am, however, very concerned about getting into more debt if more surgeries and treatments are required. This has created enough stress and anxiety for me to choose this route.
If you help me reach my goal I will be forever greatful and you will receive a personal thank you note from me :). If you cannot help me financially but can say a prayer for me or send good vibes my way, I will appreciate it even more.
