Please help us in our efforts to help my daughter. She is in need of medically neccasary bariatric surgery. Brittany has suffered her entire life with morbid obseity. There are mulitple medical conditions that she suffers with, which are almost all life threating. We have struggled for many years trying to get her the health care that she needs just to be able to live her everyday life. She is a recipent of Medicaid, however Medicaid will not pay for weight loss surgery. My daughter is a beautiful person inside and out; to me and everyone who knows and loves her. This is not just a cosmetic elective surgery for her. It is life or death. I have to add to this that Brittany always trys to help herself in every way possible on a daily basis. She eats a diabetic diet and does exercise activity but it is much more than that to what needs to be done! She is a second year college student who is determined to have her education. Even getting up and going to school is a constant struggle but she does not let anything stand in her way! Brittany is also a very caring and giving young lady! She is always trying to help someone and putting others happiness before her own. This girl has a heart as big as the sky and she deserves to conqour the world just as anyone else! With all of this being said, the struggles are very real for her everyday. Please help us support Brittany so she can reach her goals and dreams. Thanks in advance for you support!
