An urgent plea for help to save my pet

Dear friends, I am sending out a heartfelt plea. My precious cat, Tiggy, was rushed to the emergency room last night with severe anaemia. He is only 8yrs old and they are trying to figure out what is wrong and formulate a treatment. Those of you that know me from fencing or riding know that I have many pets. I love them all. Yet Tiggy is special to me in ways that no other pet has ever been. The past few years have been difficult for me to get through. And this year is horrible for us all. Through all of the darkest, lowest points, Tiggy has always been so attached to me. So comforting. There were times I did not want to even get out of bed but he especially always got me through it.
 Tiggy cuddles with me like no other cat ever has. He follows me and goes for walks on a leash. He is an absolute joy to be around and never stops purring. He was purring all night and head butting everyone in the hospital even though his blood count should have had him passed out. I am asking all of my friends around the world, everyone in fencing, riding, animal rescue and from my past, please spare 1$,1£, or 1EU if you can to help me treat him and try to save him. 
I have always feared having to give up on an animal for lack of funding. It is a personal nightmare of mine. I am hesitant to ask because i know this year has been hard on everyone. I just have to try.
