Gordon Corrigan has just been diagnosed with inoperable brain tumours, as Members of the 6th Gurkha Rifles Regimental Association will know from the recent information put out by our Honorary Secretary. As you can imagine, Gordon is facing this devastating news with his usual cheerful and stoic self; he and Imogen are determined not to let this ruin their enjoyment of life.
Several of our members kindly suggested that we get together to fund a memorable holiday for Gordon and Imogen but, while Gordon was hugely appreciative by this generous offer, he was clear that he would rather any such funds go towards the Gurkha Soldiers and the Gurkha Regiments that he has been honoured to serve with for so many years. Gordon felt strongly that this could best be met by supporting the Gurkha Museum’s major refurbishment plans – Project Kaida .
Gordon’s life-long love of Nepal and his dedicated service to our soldiers deserves recognition. If you would like to support this fine and honourable man, please make a donation towards Project Kaida.
And do remember to complete the Gift Aid Form, for Gordon would love to lever money from the Chancellor for a cause near to his heart!
Thank you.
