As everyone is aware now, Amy was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer Nov 2014. She will complete her 6th round of Chemo the week of 2/23 in hopes that this will be her last.
Dependent on how her next scan goes, she could need 6 more treatments or move on to radiation.
She has been working from home as much as she can and unfortunatley the chemo has taken a toll on her. She recently went on short term disability.
She's been such a rock in Dematic culture and has helped many of us out over her 10 years here, I thought that starting this, we could provide her some sort of help as I'm sure the hospital/treatment bills are starting to roll in.
Amy is not aware of this, and I'm sure she'll be beyond surprised by our generosity. She has continued to express how much she misses her extended family here and that she can't wait to get back to "normal".
