It is with a heavy heart that I share the sudden passing of my beautiful sister, Amy Scott, on September 5th. Amy was only 33 years old and truly lit up the whole of Westerhope with her kindness and the biggest heart. For the last 8 years, she dedicated herself as a volunteer to the charity Search, helping others selflessly.

Our family is still in shock, and Amy will be deeply missed by us all. As her sister and a parent myself, I cannot begin to imagine the unbearable pain our dad is going through—no parent should ever have to plan their child’s funeral. Amy did not have any life insurance, so I am hoping to raise a little bit to help ease some of the financial burden on him during this incredibly difficult time.
