Our Tender Heart Family lost a very dear friend & co-worker this week, Amy was loved by everyone she came in touch with especially her patients she cared for.

Amy worked primarily in nursing homes, eventually settling into hospice work. Her innate ability and desire to make people comfortable drove Amy to provide exceptional care to each and every one of her patients.

Amy loved deeply and took her role in relationships with friends and family seriously. She was a loyal and steadfast friend and confidant to many. Loving and caring for the little ones in the family, she treasured her time with nieces, nephews, and especially her grandchildren. The special bond she had with Whitney and Braiden was evident.

Amy was a Christian, living her faith was something she took joy in. She began her walk with Christ as a young teen, getting saved at church camp and baptized shortly after. Amy became a fierce prayer warrior always offering to lift anyone up in prayer who needed it. If you got into Amy’s car in the last years of her life, you can bet her radio would be tuned to the Christian station. Amy’s life was not without trials, she showed extreme resilience in the face of adversity. Her ability to enjoy life and let loose despite her hardships was something to be admired. She exuded raw hilarity even in the worst circumstances. Amy was a unique individual and unapologetically herself. She had no problem being exactly who she was and didn’t care if anyone had a problem with it. Always looking for the next laugh or bingo hall, she lived life to the fullest every day.

Amy left behind 3 children and multiple grandchildren - of which she cared for and loved deeply. Her presence will be missed immensely - a hole that can only be filled by warm memories, love, laughter and faith.
