We are doing Dry January and 50 push ups a day for the whole of January to raise money for a charity very close to our hearts. That’s zero alcohol and 50 push ups a day for the whole of January.
Martin lost his Dad who was waiting for a heart transplant when Martin was a teenager and Amy lost her Mum earlier this year to a sudden heart valve defect infection. Although these tragic death's were not a result of alcohol consumption, abstaining from alcohol for one month can greatly improve heart and liver health, improve sleep and energy levels, save money and help to lose weight, whilst completing 50 push ups a day can increase overall fitness and improve muscle strength and endurance.
Support the British Heart Foundation to give a gift that keeps on living. Donate to raise money for research into heart and circulatory conditions. BHF is the biggest funder of research into heart and circulatory diseases in Europe. They help find cures and treatments to give people more time with loved ones. Despite huge progress, heart and circulatory diseases still kill 1 in 4 people in the UK. We need your help to keep funding research that saves lives.
