AZAEP Amy Edwards Memorial Scholarship
The Arizona Association of Environmental Professionals (AZAEP) is raising funds to establish the Amy Edwards Memorial Scholarship. It is meant to encourage a career path in Transportation Environmental Planning or a related field. For over 25 years, Amy dedicated her professional career to serving those around her; her community through the development of much needed, high profile infrastructure projects and her colleagues, friends, and family through mentorship and guidance.
In memory of Amy Edwards, this scholarship will be awarded to a graduate student with a passion to explore the inextricable link between environmental planning and preliminary transportation/civil engineering in delivering successful and timely projects to meet the needs of the traveling public. The successful candidate will have demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, transportation-related activities or job skills, and a drive to explore new horizons and constantly reinvent oneself.
The minimum criteria for selection are:
a. GPA of 3.5 or higher.
b. Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in a transportation-related field, such as transportation engineering, transportation planning, or environmental planning.
c. Plans to pursue a career in a transportation-planning related field.
d. Passionate about improving the community through the development of efficient transportation systems.
Scholarship awarded through AZAEP.

Please consider donating before January 31, 2019 so the scholarship can be awarded before the fall 2019 semester.
