On June 10th, 2014, our good friend Bruce Porter was diagnosed with Stage IV Anaplastic Pancreatic Cancer, a rare subtype of pancreatic cancer that is extremely aggressive.
True to form, Bruce’s steadfast determination, unwavering dedication to his family and zest for life is ever apparent in the face of this fierce adversary.
As a self-employed business owner, Bruce is the sole proprietor for his company and breadwinner for his family. While he remains willing and eager-minded to continue working, the course of treatment that he is receiving will make this virtually impossible for an undetermined amount of time.
Anything that can be done to enable the Porter Family to spend quality time together now, without having to otherwise focus on financial obligations, would be a blessing.
Bruce and Jenny have raised their kids in beautiful Grass Valley, CA. There are many people who love this family and any support that you are able to provide, either monetarily or through prayer, would be truly appreciated.
