After several months in the fight of her life, Amra lost her battle this afternoon (5.4.18). She was surrounded by her family, including her parents on video.
Her wish was to be buried at home in Bosnia. The cost to take care of this is much higher than the family anticipated.
They truly appreciate all the money raised so far, but desperately need to continue so Amra can go home to her final resting place.
Please help us by spreading this to as many people as possible.

Several months ago, Amra was diagnosed with lung cancer. She underwent treatments and fought it resulting in a check-up saying the cancer was gone from her lungs and she was cleared to return to work!
Still not feeling well, Amra went back to the doctor and found out the cancer had spread. It is now in her bones. She is undergoing more treatments continuing to fight, but is having some difficulties with some of the medications at this point.
Amra is a mom, wife, sister, daughter, aunt, co-worker, friend... Some of her closest family members are in her home country of Bosnia and we would like to help raise money for her to see them as soon as possible. If travelling is not possible, funds raised can help in other areas.
Most people going through difficult situations don't like asking for help, so let's not ask that of her! Let's just help!
At work, we are coordinating a couple of different fundraisers, and in addition I'm hoping this page will reach out to as many people as possible so Amra can either see her family and/or help her and her family as needed.
