Hi, my name is Andie and I am a wife of a very big hearted, hard working man named Chad. Chad is 40 years old and he is in the prime of his life. He is a strong, caring man who takes pride in providing for his family. We have an adorable 6 year old son that loves his Daddy very much.
Unfortunately, Chad recently went through a life altering event. Last year, Chad's doctors discovered a blood clot in his left knee. We have spent the last year and a half going through multiple surgeries to try to save his leg. The blood clot was so bad that it cut off his blood circulation to his foot. Chad had to undergo a bypass surgery in his leg and then had his toes amputated. This did not fix the problem entiely. His leg and foot continued to suffer. Even, without toes, Chad continued to work hard to provide for us as this is what he loved to do.
Last Monday, it was determined that all the previous surgeries did not work, his bypass graft had collapsed and he had to have his leg amputated. This is not the outcome we had hoped for after a long battle with this blood clot. This is not something we anticipated and it came as a shock to us.
Now Chad is suffering a small sense of depression. He knows he will not be able to provide for his family over the upcoming months. With the holidays approaching fast, and the hospital bills starting to come in, his loss of income has really hit our family hard. The idea of not being able to make rent or even give our son a Christmas he deserves, is only making Chad' s recovery a longer battle to over come.
Chad is usually the one that offers helps to our community. He has a big heart and likes to help others when he can.
The tables have been turned on us and we know that it is necessary to ask for help. Please, if you can help our family get through the next couple of months, we would be forever grateful and honored to call you our family.
