As we move towards a full pitch it is essential that the boys keep their aerobic capacity trained as much as their rugby drills. Longer workouts like cross country and cycling, together with metabolic conditioning, will really add to the boys' fitness and see an improvement on the field during traditional training and in matches.
The dualthon is going to be a fun training session away from the club, provide a little bit of healthy competition and help us raise funds for the age group.
Funding is always required to keep kit up to date and provide training equipment like balls, bibs and physio kit which always take a beating and are expensive to replace. Age group funds can also be used to subsidise match shirts and other activities like the annual rugby tour.
Your help with this fundraiser will be greatly appreciated by the age group and the boys.
