<div>On September 30, 2021, the world lost a very special young man. Darius Cheston, though only 15 years old, was full of life and determination. He had a stunning smile, a sweet personality, and a big heart. As an athlete, Darius was incredibly proud of his accomplishments participating with the Special Olympics, competing in track.  During the 2021 Summer Sports Finals, Darius placed 1st in the 50 M and 3rd in the 100 M, bringing home medals!  He was also an artist, enjoyed video games, and loved his family very much.<br /><br />Darius was strong and he fought so very hard to get better. During the 3 months Darius spent at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, the doctors, nurses, therapists, and staff got to know Darius so well. As a result, his caregivers fell in love with his spirit and had the wonderful opportunity to be touched by Darius' life. Gone too soon, Darius leaves behind so many family and friends who cared and loved him deeply.<br /><br />Please consider donating to help cover expenses associated with medical, funeral, or other financial needs during this difficult time.<br />The family very much appreciate all the love and support they have already received, they can't thank you enough.  Please continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers.<br /><br />
