My name is Amirah, I'm from Liverpool and this year I'm hoping to raise funds to help build homes in Syria. We have some good friends who will be there on the ground this Ramadan.

For every £2,500 raised we can help to transform a syrian family's life by taking them out of tents into a home of their own.

You can do this by volunteering to fast a day with my support and the support of your friends and family. By way of thanks you will receive a delicious home cooked meal.

Muslims can support the cause with donations of sadaqa and zakat.
