Dear friends and amici,
I know Mina, a Moroccan student studying her Ph.D. at UC Davis who has developed recently some serious and life-threatening health problems that include a rare heart cancer "Angiosarcoma".
She is a former MSc student and at present is a member of our CIHEAM Bari Alumni Network which I am coordinating and managing (please see http://www.iamb.ciheam.org/en/alumni).
Unfortunately, her student health insurance does not cover all her medical costs, transport, accommodation, and related healthcare issues.
I set up this crowdfunding campaign to raise some much-needed funds to help her. To date I have been able, thanks to generosity and support of many wonderful persons from CIHEAM Bari Community, to send her a couple thousand dollars.
The campaign is still open and I am continuing to reach out to people about her plight. If you feel inclined to donate, please let me know and I can provide you with the information needed to donate.
