Join the American Gondola Racing Team Vogalonga 2025

Welcome to the most unique rowing team in the United States! Literally, these are "The boys in the boat!" This will be our 40th year participating in the Vogalonga in Venezia, Italia, as the ONLY American Team. We represent Naples Island, Long Beach, California, and the United States!

The Vogalonga is a 30-kilometer marathon through the lagoon of Venezia, Italia. We are consistently the only American team in this 2000 boat and 6000 person regatta. We train here in Alamitos Bay, Long Beach, Ca for months to prepare for this rowing Marathon. We have developed a strong sister like relationship between the City of Long Beach and Venezia, Italia , where our participation has become a true cultural exchange over the years.

Each year we train a few of our gondoliers and provide them the experience of a lifetime, to train and compete in this international adventure. Your generous donations will help us provide this trip to our young crew.from the neighborhood. Don't miss the boat on helping float these "boys in the boat" across the Atlantic!
