In the month of September, National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month supporters around the world Go Gold to represent childhood cancer warriors and heroes. <br /><br />Did you know childhood cancer is the number one disease killer of children and is the leading cause of death for children between the ages of 4 and 14 in the United States?  The ACCO, American Childhood Cancer Organization, ACCO is determined to change these statistics, and for the past 50 years they have been doing just that, The ACCO strives to make childhood cancer a national health priority by shaping policy, supporting research, raising awareness, as well as providing educational resources and programs to children with cancer, childhood cancer survivors, and their families. By doing our part as a community, in terms of advocating and spreading awareness, we can contribute to this national effort. <br /><br />Want to join me in making a difference? I am a high schooler, passionate about advocating for public health causes in my community. I'm currently raising money to benefit American Childhood Cancer Organization (American Childhood Cancer Organization), and any donation will help make an impact.
