Chasing the American Dream

Donation protected
As many of you know DACA has recently become a ticking time bomb, forcing our young immigrants to fear uprooting from the country they have been raised in and grown to love.

For this reason, our friend Jorge Rosales, fears the loss of his home.

Born in Mexico, Jorge was just two years old when his mother decided to join their family in the states. For the past twenty five years he has called Los Angeles his home. He attended school here and is the first of his family to graduate high school. He has made lifelong friends and even met the love of his life, his fiancee, Miguel Fernandez.

Miguel and Jorge are both active members of the LGBTQ community. They strive to spread the message of equality and offer open arms to everyone and anyone in need.

Currently, Jorge works full time as a personal banker with Wells Fargo while simultaneously working towards his bachelor's degree at California State University, LA. He hopes to someday become a history teacher and is passionate about the academic success of our country's youth. He hopes to share the positive impact education has had on him and to motivate and inspire his students.

Our goal is to raise $7500 to help Jorge attain citizenship!

Your help is greatly appreciated, even if it is just to share Jorge’s story and help to spread knowledge of this injustice and unprecedented action.
