This fund was originally created for support of my siblings during the time mom was in the hospital. But since her passing we will use the additional donations to continue mom's support of students in Liberia.

Hello, my name is Miatta Nyanforh and I am creating this GoFundMe for me and my siblings.

My mom, Amelia, is a wonderful spirit that is currently fighting for her life. Already chronically ill with bronchiectasis, she has severe pneumonia and secondary COVID-19 that has led her to be on a ventilator and needing dialysis. We are praying that she makes a full recovery but she has a long road ahead.

During this time, we are trying to be present with her in New Jersey and spend most days with her in the ICU. Unfortunately, this also means we are unable to work and have traveled many miles to be here to support her recovery.

My mom is the rock of our family and is not only a mother of three, but grandmother, aunt, sister, and adoptive mom to so many others.
