This GoFund Me Page is in Memorial of a Beautiful Angel Baby that was far too Beautiful for this Earth, Amelia Christine Snyder.

"An Angel in the Book of Life, wrote down my baby's birth.
Then whispered as she closed the book, "Too Beautiful for Earth."

Rest in Peace & Fly High with the Angels Sweet Baby Girl.

The following are beautiful pictures of my sister & brother in law with their sweet baby girl. And following the pictures is their story.

                                        Forever Changed

We were so excited for our first baby. We had not known the gender and all we could talk about was when “Baby A” was going to arrive. We had names picked out for both a boy and a girl both beginning with the letter “A”. Baby A was going to be here so soon and July couldn’t come soon enough. The room decorated, baby shower planned and extreme happiness filled us.

Little did we know, we were in for a wild ride starting May 10th.

On May 10, 2017, I went into pre-term labor at 31 weeks and 4 days. I went into my hospital where I would see my OB provider and was having contractions every 1-2 minutes and was already dilated. I was transferred to Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI and labor was slowed down. I was discharged on May 17, 2017 from Meriter.

On May 19th, our lives as we knew them were completely shattered into a million pieces. Labor started again, my water broke and I made it to the hospital in Dodgeville, WI. When arriving to the hospital and after the doctor arrived, she spoke words that will never leave our minds; “There is no heartbeat”.

These words made my heart stop. I was rushed into an emergency C-Section. Andrew had to wait in the waiting room anxiously. I remember coming out of being asleep and asking, “Where is my baby”, only to be told, “We are so very sorry.” Everything as we knew it changed, the world stopped, our hearts broken and now empty from the happiness and excitement we once had. We will never be the same.

Amelia Christine Snyder ❤

The incredible support we have had from our friends, family and even people we did not and do not know has been incredible. I don’t know what I would do without these people that have showed us so much support. Our families, especially, have been amazing!!. When in the hospital, right away we were put into contact with 2 incredible nurses that have both been through very similar situations. They put many things into action for us and for this we are so incredibly grateful and words cannot describe the care we received after the birth of our baby angel Amelia Christine.

We are so incredibly thankful of the hospital having been a part of the Babies Gone Too Soon Support Program. Through this we have had much support and were able to have many things done for us. We have a lot of amazing things to memorialize our baby girl from the special programs that the hospital had to offer. For this, we will be forever grateful for.

One of the nurses called a friend of her that she knew that does photography. Judi Carey (Little Britches Photography) came to the hospital and spent a lot of time with all of us. We were able to have so many incredible pictures taken with our beautiful girl. These are something we are going to forever cherish showing the time we were able to spend with her. Our Families were able to spend time with her and we have all of these pictures to be able to look at and hold close to our hearts forever. She brought so much love to this world and our family and friends, it’s incredible. She stole our hearts completely. We will forever be grateful of Judi and everything she did for us to keep our angel close.

Another thing the hospital had was a Cuddle Cot. We had never heard of anything like this. The Cuddle Cot is a special type of machine that is used to keep the baby cool after passing so the baby is able to stay with the family and the family can spend time with their angel instead of only getting a couple of hours before having to be taken away. If it was not for this cuddle cot, all of our immediate family and many friends would not have been able to spend time with her and we would not have been able to spend time with her. Because of this cuddle cot we were able to keep her with us constantly in the room from delivery until we left the hospital. This machine is incredible. If it was not for the cuddle cot we would not have all of the amazing pictures and memories we have with our beautiful Amelia. Because of this cuddle cot, the photographer was able to come back 2 days after delivery and we were able to go take pictures outside in the beautiful weather. Because of this, we have all of the incredible photos we have. We were able to cuddle with her. We were able to hold her as much as we could for the 3 days we were there. We were able to change her outfits, read to her, talk to her, and create memories that we will never have the chance to do. Those 3 days with her that we had will always be in our hearts and memories we are going to cherish forever. We love Amelia so much and you could see that everyone loved her just as much as we did and to have that time with her and our families was amazing.

Because of this cuddle cot we were able to make so many memories even in such a short amount of time and it was absolutely incredible and we will forever be grateful.

Because of this, we are hoping to raise money to be able donate a cuddle cot to a hospital in our hometown area. Our goal and hope is to raise enough for 1, but even more so 2 if possible so we can donate one to 2 different hospitals. They are $3000 a piece so it would be amazing if we could raise enough for 2 of them!

We hope this never happens to anyone, but if someone must go through this terrible experience, I hope they are given the chance to spend that time with their baby and be able to create memories with them like we were able to with having the cuddle cot.

Please, Anything helps, and we hope this raises awareness for something like this. This is an incredible thing that we were so lucky to be able to utilize.

Again, thank you to everyone and anyone that has been there for us during this time. We are forever grateful.

With Love,
Ashly & Andrew Snyder
