Amelia and Ruby's Fight

 
So, a lot of you know that Amelia Grace was recently taken to Arkansas Children's to have an MRI of her brain for her Neurofibromatosis. There, they discovered Amelia has a tumor on her optic nerve of her brain called optic nerve glioma. The place the tumor is in is inoperable, meaning their only options were to leave it alone and just wait to see if it grows causing further blindness or chemo to shrink it. Because of the significant progression of her vision loss from just a year ago, they have decided to go with chemo. She will be having her port placed here pretty quickly, and will begin the chemo very shortly after. The chemo could last anywhere from a few months to a year.

They have a long road ahead of them before the chemo starts and will have an even longer year after the chemo. So, I set up this GoFundMe in hopes of at least helping with gas, food, and any other little things they may need due to having to drive weekly to Little Rock. If you can't donate, a prayer would be just as much appreciated.

We know she is in great hands with the Children's Tumor Foundation and all the doctors and nurses she will soon grow close to and call family. Continued prayers for her as they begin this journey.
