While visiting friends and family in southern California, she fell ill and was seen at St. Josephs Hospital in southern California away from her home. Driving back, she stopped at home for only minutes before driving to Doctors Hospital of Modesto. She was hospitalized overnight before she unexpectedly succumbed to the flu and Pneumonia.
She was only 54 years old and survived by her 5 children, 3 grandchildren, her mother and 2 brothers. She was a cornerstone in the lives of many, keeping the homefires burning for her family and those in need. She is remembered as always being there at times when a hug was needed. Her smile and cooking will be sorely missed.
In such an unexpected and unforseen tradgedy, Amelia's family, friends, and community are
working as we speak to raise funds as soon as heavenly possible for a proper tribute and funeral. All arrangements are being coordinated by Amelia's neice, Felicia.
Amelia was a strong woman, beautiful person, and compassionate soul. Please, if you can in any capacity, help us with your donation.
