Getting aid to the people that need it most

This fundraiser is now closed - but we're not nearly finished! If you would like to help us to deliver more ambulances and other critically important aid to Ukraine please do so at our latest fundraising page here:

Thank you!

-----------------

This fundraiser is for those in the UK to support Dominic Wynniatt-Husey and Daniel Whitehead in driving a much-needed ambulance to Ukraine ... We also have fundraisers set up for supporters in Canada and for supporters in the US so that we can make this tax efficient for as many people as possible!

In August Dan and his wife delivered an ambulance called Sunny to Ukraine from London, England - you can read about the journey on the blog here. The ambulance that they drove out is now with a children's hospital north of Odesa but on the journey it became very apparent that there is a huge need for a vehicle to be used as a flexible resource to help local aid workers and NGOs:

- deliver aid to hard-to-reach communities
- provide medical support to those communities

At the moment this isn't happening as much as it should. The people we need to reach are often older and/or have mobility issues and cannot reach the support they need. We need to take that support to them. Dan and Dominic are the ones to do it - but only with your support!

Here is a short video showing what we're trying to do on YouTube. Paul (who fronts the video) is the aid worker who drove Sunny across Ukraine. In the video he is in the villages in the Odesa region that we plan to help.

We're confident that this will do a lot of good and be a great success. As soon as we have collected enough data and evidence on a German charity that we're working with will make a funding application to the EU to buy many more vehicles. These will in turn help many more communities. So each donation is planned to have an impact many times more than it may first appear!

We have already raised some money so we're off to a great start - this fundraiser will enable us to buy an ambulance, deliver it to Odesa and then service, maintain and fuel it for up to a year.

Thank you so much for your support, it really makes a difference!
