Amber Thorpe Surgical Fees Needed

Hola to all our Zacatito’s Friends and Neighbors,
We know you are all preparing for Tropical Storm Lidia, we all wish you our best and hope everyone stays safe and sound, as this storm passes by.
Unfortunately, We already have one injury to report, Amber Thrope, while working on a wind screen at a neighbors, had the metal underneath her collapse. She fell and fractured her knee. She is currently at the H Hospital in San Jose awaiting a necessary surgery. The Hospital is estimating the cost to total $8,000 US Dollars. The Hospital checked with her insurance plan and they will not cover the cost of the surgery outside of Oregon. Without funding sources they will not perform the necessary surgery. I know it is a lot of money, but in the US a surgery of this kind is in the $25,000 to $35,000 range.( health.costhelper.com/broken-leg.html)
The Doctor has warned her that she is not safe to travel, and the break is so severe that further damage to the area could cause permanent damage.
Amber always goes above and beyond to help all of us in the community as well as caring for all the animals and wildlife who add so much to our daily lives. Additionally Amber came to our rescue, when our beloved Cinema in the Sand was cancelled, providing us with our own Zacatito’s movie nights. Amber is someone we can always count on to be there for us or our furry friends.
We are hoping the community will come together to help fund the surgery Amber desperately needs. Please help us give back to Amber for all she does for us all.
